An overdue project which I wanted to document the entire pregnancy process but I just didn't have the energy to sit in front of the computer and develop this journal.

I guess this journal also serves to keep my good girl friends who are overseas so that I can share updates of the progress of the baby.

Here I am, 17 weeks into pregnancy... :) Yes, belly is growing bigger ( not just the belly but practically everything else)

At the moment, we do not know the gender of the precious little one but we will have a little surprise on 23 Dec 2013 during the week 20 detailed scan.

Recalling how it all started...

I recalled that I kept falling sick, having the common cold and coughs after my Hong Kong trip and I was wondering why as I rarely get common cold. I also remember that I kept dozing off in front of the tv but I thought it was just my usual lazy self. I have also been gaining some weight but that might be due to lack of exercise since I had been resting quite a bit as I was not well.

Then I realised that the P has been late for a while and we decided to perform the magical test.

I used the guardian test kit and waited for the longest 5 minutes in my life. I saw 1 line and another faint line. I threw it into the bin, thinking that a positive test result will show a cross instead of a line. Then I told BK who was preparing to go to work and he asked me to check properly.

We took the box and to my horror ( I was in shock) that 2 lines create a positive result. I went to pick up the kit from the bin and compared and I think that we have a positive result!

Then I wanted to wait for night to perform another test to re-confirm. However I couldn't wait and decided to perform another test after lunch time.

Again, the same results were shown on the stick.

I quickly called the doctor and was asked to go down the next day for a blood test.

All is history. A little one is growing within me! :)

I cannot recall this important date so I will check with the daddy to be and update in my journal =)
