Halfway mark | Blessed Baby

Congratulations to myself and BK. We survived the first half of pregnancy!

Baby turned 20 weeks. Well done baby and mummy!

A couple of days ago, I started feeling a tinge of sensation, particularly around the bottom left corner. I think it is the baby causing this wonderful sensation but I'm not too sure about it.

I have been procrastinating the belly photos, I must really get down to it before it zooms past and the belly is too huge to capture the growth in my belly.

Sadly, I have been waking up to painful and numb fingers. Last night was so bad I couldn't bend and I have no strength to even pull the blankets :( Hope that this pain will go away or lessen. Really do not know how to relieve it.

Apparently, this is common and affects 60% of preggies. It's called the carpal tunnel syndrome!

Many of my friends would know that I have been 'resting' at home and feeling quite stressed about not bringing some bacon home. Had a chat with a friend in US and she told me that money can be earned. Time cannot be earned, experience cannot be earned. This is the only time which I can have the privilege to be 'lazy'. It kind of makes some sense that I should really take this chance and enjoy my pregnancy. Somehow I still feel stress that no bacon has been brought home by me!

On a side note, baby is very blessed. Many people are offering gifts and asking what do I need? Frankly, I also do not know what I need at this stage. I shall do up a wish list in a couple of weeks :)

Baby's auntie and uncle returned from US and brought baby a couple of gifts. Blessed baby and thank you Auntie Charis and Uncle Swee Meng. Apparently it is hard to find gender neutral clothes due to the wordings. They managed to find the sweet bodysuits which I absolutely love. Afraid that there might be jealously between daddy and mummy, auntie chose 2 designs :)

I Love Mummy!

I Love Daddy!

Baby also has a new travel bassinet which we can bring around when we are out with the baby!

Thank you !

Counting down to Monday. Baby, don't be shy and show us whether you are boy boy or girl girl ok? We need to prepare for your arrival :)

xoxo,
Mummy
